This cremation urn is a unique geometric design that holds ashes of up to a 225-pound human. It is made from the finest woods selected for strength, beauty and stability to honor the memory of your loved one. The interior is sealed with shellac and the exterior is finished with water-based lacquer polished and buffed to a beautiful sheen.
The 'door' is held in place with a very precise proprietary cam mechanism and can be opened and closed by turning one screw. One of my many innovations to this unique and original design.

I make two other sizes appropriate for pets and smaller humans.

I named this unique sculptural wooden urn the Icosahedron. This geometric structure is a polyhedron with 20 sides or facets.

The finish I use is a CAB acrylic lacquer from Sherwin Williams with the vinyl sealer base coat. I often use paste wax with steel wool to make the piece feel better to the touch and to bring out the sheen.
Very little care if any is necessary aside from removing dust occasionally. You can use an air canister if you like. You may also use any wax type polish to bring out the sheen. If alcohol or a chemical gets on the piece, wipe off immediately. Letting a chemical sit will ruin the finish.
The leather lining I use is a synthetic suede called Ultrasuede. It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

I had been searching for over two years for an urn for my late husband's ashes. Nothing felt right-it wasn't the right design, the right feel and representative of him (he was an architect and artists); until I accidentally came across Eugene Watson's urns. As soon as I saw the urn, I knew that it was the right one. I showed the picture to my daughters and they also agreed-"It looks like something Daddy would have designed." Shipping was fast and it was very easy to unscrew and put the ashes in. The urn blends seamlessly in with our (mine and late husband) design aesthetic. Thank you!

A work of art. Our 28 year old son passed away on Christmas Day. We did not want a traditional urn for him and our children and friends began a search for something special for Danny. When we were shown these wooden urn the search ended. Danny was a big role player and the icosahedron design is perfect. Our son’s ashes fit in the 225 size and he was a big man. The urn is beautiful, we chose the Chechen wood and we couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you for making these urns. You will not regret buying this for your loved ones.

The artist was great to work with! It was clear he took great pride in his work and wanted me to be happy with the results. I am using this "box" as a Memory Box or Time Capsule for my nephews son. It will be filled with notes, letters and keepsakes. It will be given to him when he turns 18. I thought the secret door would be cool for a young boy but had no idea how secret, the secret door is. The joints are perfection. I literally could not find the opening without use of the magnets. The box is even better looking in person. It's difficult to capture the majesty of a 12-sided box from one angle. The craftsmanship is flawless, the art is beautiful. It is an impressive tribute for any use. Bravo - Eugene!
