This st is 0.027 gauge. American Flyer trains were 0 gauge before WW2. .There are 4 pieces in this group. The engine runs fine,it is a forward only model. It is about the size of the Marx CP style locos. There is a tender ,gondola, and a caboose. The cars have the standard hook couplers that are also on Marx and other toy trains of the time. The light works, but I think a lense might be missing,or it may of never had one.The trains have paint chips and issues, but it still looks great for a pre WW2 kids toy. This would look great with your ceramic Christmas village.I can supply track and transformer if you need it for an extra amount .We now sell locally and on several other internet sights, and this posting could be ended anytime. Study the pictures as they are a main part of the description. Buyer pays 21.95 in mail Shipping. Thanks
