These concrete trays can be used in a number of places throughout the home to organize or display various items. Each tray is handmade. I pour a cement mix into a rubber mold and once it's cured I sand it and apply a sealer. I then apply a cork bottom.
Grey - The standard finish. Each tray is sanded smooth and a coat of beeswax is applied to the surface. (first four images)
Grey - Variation - Over time the molds I use for these medium trays have developed interesting patterns as they age and wear. I decided to highlight these by just giving the trays a light sanding and applying an acrylic sealer. Compared to the standard finish you can expect more variation in tone and some texture along the outside and inside edges. (images 5 and 6)
Grey - Rounded Edge - These are finished the same as the Variation option but with the edges filed to leave a rough finish. An acrylic sealer is applied as well. (images 7 and 8)
