Monkey Statue, Vintage Ceramic, Chinese Monkey, Large, Chinoiserie, Sitting Monkey, Holding Bowl, Thinking Monkey, Garden Decor, Boho Home, Retro Bathroom,

A vintage, mid century Chinese, "Thinking Monkey" statue; Substantial size and weight with a ribbed blue bowl on his head, great overall color and condition. He has a lovely, serene expression on his face, a lot of detail to the piece. Original Chinese tags present on base. I'm a little obsessive about the monkeys I have in the shop, and this one is a champ!

There is a notification on the base that the bowl is not to be used for food products.

In very good, well kept condition- no chips, but there is glaze crazing and if this piece were used in a garden or sunroom exposed to cold or heat, I would expect paint to flake off.

Measuring 10" tall, 6" wide, and approx 7" deep. Bowl is 6" across. Weighs 4 lbs

I am always happy to ship a gift to the recipient. I do ask that you verify the complete address, and clearly state what, (if anything) you would like written on an enclosure card. Due to the size and nature of my items, I do not gift wrap, but do use pretty tissue on the outer wrapping to give it a more festive appearance!
Absolutely! I will always try to get your item(s) to you in the safest and most affordable way I can- However due to the fragile nature, and weight of some items, it is occasionally not possible to package items together. USPS charges by the lb, and sometimes it's just not cost effective to combine. Contact me with your zip code if you would like a more accurate shipping quote.
I ship everything USPS Priority with insurance- it protects both the seller and buyer in the event of damage, (and it gets your packages to you quickly!) USPS charges by the size and weight of the packaged item, and most of my items are fragile and heavy- I try to keep the costs down, but I want to make sure your purchase gets to you safely!

I ship from the center of the country and the listed cost is what it costs me to ship to either coast. In the event I can get your purchase to your location for less than the listed shipping cost, I will refund anything not used for packaging and shipping.
Please contact me immediately-within 3 business days- if you need to initiate a return; I must receive the insured item within 14 days of contact in order to process a return. Return shipping fees are the buyers responsibility.
