Pauline Trigere, an award winning designer was born in Paris in 1908, and immigrated to the US in 1936. It is here that she turned her talents to dress design. Her couture designs were structured and tailored, making even a woman of average height look statuesque. In the 1950s, Trigere began producing costume jewelry to be worn with her clothing. Her jewelry, like her clothing is sought after and hard to find. Trigere had a passion for using turtles in her designs.
