For this gown, Annie came to me with some great ideas about the general style and I created the dress she envisioned. I used the fabric she loved (peachy silk shantung), and trimmed the dress with bias pieces of silk velvet cut from one of her own vintage evening gowns. I worked from her measurements and had several fittings on Annie in order to fit it to her perfectly.

If you would like to order a custom wedding dress from me, we would use style features YOU want and fabric of YOUR choice; Annie's dress is just an example for you to see.

I would work from your measurements and if you live on the east coast of the US, we might do a fitting or two on you in person. If an in-person fitting is not possible, I would work from very precise measurements (I would give you specific directions for taking the measurements I need) and you might not need to have any alterations done at all once you receive the finished gown.

I have access to a wide variety of fabrics from which you may choose OR you may shop for your fabric yourself and ship it to me.
