Signed 1950’s RENOIR of California MATISSE “TAPESTRY” set includes a Copper & Enamel Open Cuff bracelet and matching Copper & Enamel earrings.

The set has a sleek and dynamic design with vibrant enamel panels of rich rust and brownish gold. The wide cuff bracelet has a copper grid with 12 rectangular enameled copper pieces applied to the grid and is signed MATISSE then Renoir preceded by a copyright symbol.

The matching clip earrings are signed Matisse preceded by a copyright symbol.

Jerry Fels founded the jewelry firm called Renoir of California in Los Angeles in 1946. A Brooklyn native, Fels studied at the Arts Student League and the National Academy of Design. Renoir produced copper jewelry from the mid 1940s until 1964. From the firm's Santa Monica, California workshop, the Renoir firm specialized in jewelry pieces with strong geometric, modernist, and abstract forms.

Renoir jewelry pieces are extraordinarily beautiful, bold, powerful, stylish and of exceptional quality…just like you! It’s no wonder that Hollywood elite like Bette Davis and Lana Turner were fans.

Shipping policies

We ship nationwide in the United States generally using USPS Priority Mail. Shipping includes Insurance to cover item(s), Delivery Confirmation, packaging and handling.
