vintage foley food mill from the 1930s. heavy metal strainer and smasher blade with wooden handle and knob and hooks on either side to sit on the rim of a bowl.

7" x 4" not including crank or handle

made for applesauce mashing, tomato straining, blackberry smashing, jam making, potato mashing

the blade says: to clean remove thumb screw — lift out smasher — foley food mill foley mfg. co. mpls. minn. pat. 19211936

good condition: still functions, like an tank. there is rust underneath around the screw, and the metal surface is beautifully streaked from decades of contact with acidic juices. great piece of collectible rustic industrial.
