This is my “Medium Aunt Sukeys Choice Hackberry” Lazy Susan. The pattern on this lazy susan is the “Aunt Sukeys Choice” quilt pattern. It is the same pattern that is on the “Oak ASC Square Box”. As you can see on the square box, 2 diamonds are on each corner. They form a star when 4 of the patterns come together. Out from the center I have 4 half size patterns that are the same size that is on my “Oak Tiny Square Box”, twice as many pieces as would normally be in that area, 48 pieces where I would normally have 24 pieces

The measurements are 15” across, 15 ½” diagonal, 16 ½”” tip to tip, and 2” high. There are 532 pieces in the overlay, 192 diamonds and 340 triangles. 192 of those pieces are half size pieces

This lazy susan has 5 kinds of wood, all the natural colors. The type of wood is listed on the bottom from the center out. On this lazy susan the wood is "Tulipwood” from Brazil, "Wenge" from West Africa, “Hackberry from Missouri, “Satinwood” from Brazil and “Walnut” from Missouri

The pattern is based on the “Aunt Sukeys Choice” quilt pattern. The design extends over the edge to within ¼” of the table top it sits on. The stationary base is hidden on the inside, behind the edge.

This is medium Lazy Susan #157 It was made in 2005. On the bottom I signed it, listed the wood, and dated it. After the date the words “Foot Cut” let you know I made it on my foot powered table saw.

The steel ball bearings are quiet and smooth working. The lazy susan will rotate at the touch of a finger.
