Description

A steampunk sculpture sure to capture the imagination. It is a steam-powered airship that fell to earth in a terrible mishap, landing on a granite prominent nearly breaking in two. Sadly this vessel will never fly again ... BUT THE PROPELLER STILL SPINS!

The name is German, it translates roughly to: "safe journey." The name is amusing not only because if its irony, but also because of its pronunciation.

The airship is made of pewter and brass and rests upon a granite base. This sculpture is interactive, the propeller spins.

This piece will make an excellent gift for the steampunk with a sense of humor on your list.

The granite base is from Lynn, MA.
