This is a really lovely and unique design for a dress. The pattern was easy to follow and the pictures were clear and helpful. The one alteration I made was to hem the skirt before attaching it to the bodice, since it seemed easier to press and hem a flat, straight piece of fabric than one already gathered to fit the bodice. Thank you to Pemberley Threads for a lovely product, and a job made fun and easy. :)
I LOVE this pattern! It's beautiful, easy to follow, and pretty easy to put together. I did use the Molly sleeve variations for this dress, but I am planning on a second Molly dress with the regular sleeves. Thank you Elizabeth for such a wonderful pattern!!❤️
Very well designed and well written pattern. As I was sewing the garment I was continually impressed at how clear the directions were. As mentioned in one review, I did slightly enlarge the lower sleeve to be sure that it would easily fit over the right hand of my doll. This is my first Pemberley Threads pattern. I will be back for more.
What a lovely pattern. I bought it to make a Glynda costume, but tried it in a plaid first just to "get the feel." Learned more about working with plaids than I wanted to ;-) but very happy with the result, and looking forward to Glynda!
