Felt chains garland tutorial.

Making garlands is an nice holiday craft for kids of all ages. For some kids working with paper is difficult, so I made this felt chains garland. All pieces connect with velcro; buttons is another option, if you like. Use a rainbow of colours or a more monochromatic colour for your garlands.

The steps to make it are incredibly simple, but kids will play with it again and again!

Children can get excited about taking part in decoration for a party! On the other hand, you can use this felt chains not only for decoration; there are a lot of great learning opportunities: develop fine motor skills, bimanual coordination skills, eye-hand coordination, repeating patterns activities and counting.

This listing is for PDF How To, not the finished product.

You will receive PDF step-by-step instructions with pictures.

The toy can be machine or hand stitched, sample is machine stitched. Only basic sewing skills are required.

This downloadable pattern is adorable! I made it into a little stuffed animal for my hedgehog-living granddaughter and she was instantly charmed. Two friends asked me to make one for them - one adult and one child. It's very quick and simple with an adorable outcome.

I'm extremely happy with this purchase! It was easy to cut out and assemble. I'm glad I ordered Korean felt to make this fun game. It made all the difference.

This is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. I decided to try foam instead of felt for my first try because right now I don't have the patience to embroider the details (I'll use markers for the details for the foam). It won't be as sturdy or long lasting but I hope it will still be cute. Thank you!

Really cute, simple project that my daughter and I made together! We did felt eyes and embroidered the rest of the face. I was a little disappointed b/c when I printed this pattern out on 8.5 x 11 paper, it didn't fit around a standard Starbucks coffee cup. Dimensions might be helpful to add to the instructions.
