5 out of 5 starsEdit- I started rolling up the pasta and using this pin to create lines on which to cut. It's actually a guide for cutting pasta to shape. I should have read a few other reviews. As others have mentioned, it only leaves lines in the pasta dough instead of cutting it up. I ended up using my knife like normal.

Does not cut through pasta. I had to use a pizza cutter to try to cut through the lines it made. Eventually, once the pasta dried a bit, I was able to "peel" the strips apart. But this is not a cutter at all. Ans since the handles do not spin, it really isn't a rolling pin. Rather it is just a piece of wood that makes line in the pasta. Not what I was hoping for at all.

Looked like it went through a wood saw with a dull blade. Had shards and splinters of wood all over, needed to be sanded and smoothed out. There is no way you could roll it through pasta dough and not have splinters left behind in the dough you just slaved over making!
