Description

This lovely narrow scarf is re-purposed from four vintage Japanese silk Kimono from the 1980 and earlier. It is perfect for when a little splash of color is needed. With predominantly Red, Green and Orange tones, this skinny scarf has abstract flowers on the end piece. It is a stunning scarf. It measures 3" x 80". With this extra length it can be tied creatively, worn loose about the neck, with a cowl draped between the two ends. Once color combination are selected, we carefully piece each scarf together to create a OOAK (one-of-a-kind) scarf. Please note that each scarf varies in length. If you are looking for certain colors or images and cannot find what you are looking for, send us a convo and we will be happy to create a scarf exclusively for you or that special person. We have an inventory of over 1200 kimono that have been gently deconstructed in order to make wearable accessories, garments or textile art. Although some of our kimono are from the early 1900's, most are from the 1940's through 1980's. Through the generations, Japanese kimono have been well-cared for and we continue our respect for these textiles by giving them another use as an heirloom-quality accessory.
