What is a bias-cut ribbon?
The material is cut on the bias, which creates shorter pieces that are then sewn together with silk thread. This results in a seam every couple yards or so. It is a characteristic of all bias-cut ribbons and adored by so many for its "stretching" capabilities that allow it to drape more beautifully.

If you're looking to purchase one yard and it is imperative that it comes without a seam, please purchase 2+ yards. One yard pieces are not guaranteed to be seamless.

Hand-wound on a wood paddle with a pin. Single yards will arrive loose.
If ordering multiple quantities, the ribbon may arrive as consecutive yardage on a single paddle. Bulk quantities may arrive on a cardboard or plastic spool.

Due to the artisanal nature of this product, slight color variation may occur between dye lots.

The length needed would vary depending on how you want the finished product to look. If you wanted a full bow or a simple knot, the amount needed for each style is different.

Since this is such a broad spectrum, I always recommend taking a piece of ribbon or string that you have around the house, tie it around your item to your desired look, untie, and then measure the length. Multiply by how many units you need, plus an additional 5-10% or so to accommodate any mess-ups and/or that the ribbon may not be fully consecutive.

Cut-to-length ribbon is not returnable. Once ribbon has been cut from its spool, it is considered final sale. ALL ribbons are cut to length from larger spools, so if you're choosing a length that is not the "full spool" option, it is a cut-to-length option.

"Full spool" ribbon orders may still be returned though.
All other items such as wrapping paper and desktop accessories may be returned.

If your order would qualify to be returned, returns must be postmarked within 14 days of your delivery date. Buyer pays return shipping and if your order shipped for free with the free-shipping-promo and your return brings the order total below $35, the initial fee to ship your order will be deducted from your return amount.
