Very rare mid century signed and numbered print of a mother holding her child.
Print is framed with its original certificate of authenticity on the back. Circa 1970’s.

Print is in excellent condition. Frame has a plexiglass cover protecting the print. Plexiglass has some scratches and rub marks and any defects shown in photos are only from the plexiglass.

Frame measures approximately 29” x 35”

Small bio of artist:
The Israeli painter Yehuda Vardi (1933-1990) had gained name and recognition in his home country for his soft, colorful portraits of beautiful women.

Born in Iraq, Vardi immigrated to Israel at the age of seven with his family, to settle first in a Kibbutz and later in Tel Aviv, where he studied art in University. He was a socially conscious artist.
