This is a wooden cremation urn large enough to hold ashes of up to a 125 pound human. Its unique sculptural design is made from the finest woods selected for strength, beauty and stability to honor the memory of your loved one.
The 'door' is removed using the magnetic base. You can keep the magnetic base attached to the box or keep it hidden in order to prevent the contents from being accessed.

It will hold up to a 125 pound loved one. I make two other sizes appropriate for pets and adult humans.

I use a lacquer finish for this box, then I polish it with paste wax for the ultimate sheen and durability.
In geometry, an icosahedron is a polyhedron with 20 faces.

The finish I use is a CAB acrylic lacquer from Sherwin Williams with the vinyl sealer base coat. I often use paste wax with steel wool to make the piece feel better to the touch and to bring out the sheen.
Very little care if any is necessary aside from removing dust occasionally. You can use an air canister if you like. You may also use any wax type polish to bring out the sheen. If alcohol or a chemical gets on the piece, wipe off immediately. Letting a chemical sit will ruin the finish.
The leather lining I use is a synthetic suede called Ultrasuede. It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Custom orders are accepted based on wood type only, unless a large quantity is desired. My boxes are all made in batches and are not conducive to size changes. I can do monograms as seen in this listing:
