Unlike most of what you see online, the artwork is not digital or a print copy—each illustration is traditionally drawn and painted all by hand!

▶ REFERENCE PHOTOS
Photo approval is required BEFORE you order. Email your reference photos, project details and desired due date to jennypaintsbyhand [!at] gmail.com.

The finished artwork will turn out best if reference photos are clear, well-lit and high resolution. Multiple photos may be provided as additional references, however the less tweaks to the primary photo, the better. Photos that are low resolution, historic or there are several to be merged may be used in rare cases, but all must be reviewed by the artist prior to ordering. Due to monitor/screen calibration differences, actual colors may vary slightly from what appears online.

▶ MATERIALS
You will receive a physical work of original art (NOT digital, NOT a print). Black & white illustrations are hand-drawn in black ink. Full-color illustrations are 100% hand-painted with professional grade watercolor and gouache paint. Artwork is done on the highest quality 100% cotton, acid-free, archival white paper (140 lb).

▶ STYLE
To get a good idea of my style, review the listing images or visit @JennyPaintsByHand on social media. The final piece will be an artistic interpretation of your photo and not an exact photo-realistic translation. The larger the piece, the more detail can be incorporated. Backgrounds are not included and can be added for an additional fee. Each illustration will be dated with the year created and hand-signed by the artist on the front.

▶ PROCESS
I will message a final pencil sketch outline for your approval before inking/painting. You may suggest minor changes, however extra fees will apply for extensive revisions. Your timely feedback is essential to prevent any delay in the completion of your order. Revisions cannot be made once inking/painting begins.

▶ SHIPPING
Before ordering, tell me your desired delivery date so I can confirm I can meet it. Your artwork will be carefully wrapped in an acid-free cellophane sleeve with cardboard backing and shipped via FedEx Express (typically 2-3 day delivery). You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your artwork is on the way! Local pick-up is not available.

Any claims of missing or damaged artwork must be reported within 15 days of shipment. All artwork is shipped fully insured. The customer is responsible for providing photos of any damage to the art and/or packaging so a claim can be filed.

▶ FRAMING
All artwork is sold unmatted and UNFRAMED. An unpainted margin is intentionally left around the image—varying slightly by composition—to make matting and framing easier.

▶ RETURNS
NO REFUNDS. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

▶ REPRODUCTIONS
All illustrations are for personal use only and cannot be reproduced in any form. All commercial rights are retained by the artist.
