Handmade

Material

PLA

Rather than toss out all the ends of my spools that I can't use, I'd rather pass them on to someone who can use them!! The filament is PLA (mostly from Hatchbox) and is 1.75mm in diameter - perfect for 3D pens. Each filament section is at least 3 meters long (10 feet) and is in a zip-lock bag with a desiccant pack.

3D printed items are not heat-resistant. Although PLA plastic can withstand temperatures up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit (60 Celsius), it can become soft if put in dishwasher, hot water, or even left in a car on a warm day.

3D printed items can be sanded and drilled (for hanging holes). Note that most items are not completely solid and only have approximately a 1mm solid surface so be cautious to not sand down too many layers.

3D printed items can be painted with acrylic paints or any other paints that are safe for plastic or PLA plastic. It is recommended that they are primed first. Use of model car paints or spray paint for plastics work well.

Wash 3D prints with a cloth of warm water and mild soap. Most prints are not water-tight.
