Fantastic little illustrated vintage children's book entitled 'Je me renseigne sur les maisons', the french adaptation by André Saint-Pierre of 'Let's Find Out About Houses'. It is part of a wonderful well-known 1960's educational series 'Je me renseigne sur...' (I Find Out About...) to enrich young children's vocabulary, in this case, 115 french words (see photo for a glimpse). It was first published in 1965 and this printing is from 1971 by Grolier Limitée of Montréal, Québec. The awesome retro brightly colored illustrations are by Peter Costanza. Hardcover. 42 pages.

This book is in great vintage condition inside and out and the only flaw is one page that has the mark of a crease right near the binding (see photo for detail). All pages are crisp and spotless, just barely yellowed.

It measures 8 3/4 inches by 7 1/4 inches.

Such a classic book with really interesting images that could well be used for altered art, collage etc project. But the book in itself is so neat that it would be painful in a way to cut into it !

Will be shipped in a protective sleeve and sturdy mailing enveloppe.
