Description

Unique ceramic urn for a dog lover made to order

This is a one-off decorated and glazed ceramic urn thrown on the potter's wheel in my studio in Kent, England, UK.

Inspired by my own dog, and by my interest in gun dogs (though I don't shoot), the illustration depicts the life of a country dog. Thrown on the potters wheel, illustrated by hand with vitreous slips and sgraffito, this is a unique one-off collectable urn that makes a stunning centrepiece tribute – a beautiful and valuable heirloom.

This white, yellow and black ceramic vase has been made using the highest quality professional clay and painted using vitreous slips entirely by hand, clear-glazed (shiny) and twice-fired to 1260 degrees centigrade.

This piece is unique, being designed and handmade and illustrated entirely by myself (no transfers or decals, everything one-off by hand) no two will ever be the same!

I would like to be able to say this product comes from a fur and smoke free environment, but that would clearly be lying though fortunately my own dog hasn't taken up smoking yet!

Approx 6 inches high, holds 1.25 pints (800ml).

Ready to ship.

All pottery is handmade and decorated by Olley Pottery in Kent, England. Urn for a dog lover.

* This listing if for my handmade and decorated pottery only and does not include any flowers or props shown in any photographs.

FAQs

All of my pieces are handmade and decorated as one-offs, for this reason, wholesale is not something I am really able to do. Why not consider purchasing a one-off ceramic as a display piece on your bar or shelving?
I try to be accurate about sizing but as everything is handmade there is some inevitable variation in sizing. If the size of an item is crucial, please check with me before ordering.
Most of the work I send to USA is relatively small (mugs, jugs, vases) and I am able to use the UK Royal Mail's insured Tracked and Signed service.

A day or so after placing your order, I will send you a tracking number, this allows you to follow the journey of your pottery via the Royal Mail website. Once your parcel arrives in the States USPS continues to track your parcel's journey to your door.

Delivery time depends on where you live, currently (early 2019) to USA is taking as little 5 working days (Royal Mail quotes between 5 and 7 working days, but is dependant on variables such as customs).

Any queries at any stage of the delivery process please contact me.
