PRODUCT INFO:

Cassie Logan is the gutsy, determined, and endearing young heroine of Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry, by Mildred D. Taylor. Set during the Great Depression in rural Mississippi, Roll of Thunder is based on true stories from the author's family. The book, though written in 1976, reads like a Classic, and is the winner of a Newbery Medal.

This is a print of a beautiful, original, hand-drawn illustration featuring a unique combination of pastels, ink, and colored pencils. All our prints are printed professionally on white sturdy card stock for long-time use, and shipped straight from my home studio.

Made especially for lovers of classic literature and strong female heroines. Nurture your daughter’s love of reading, give it to a bookish friend, or brighten the drab walls of your office cubicle.

Your print(s) come nicely packaged in a clear sleeve, ready for gift-giving.

Available in 5x7" or 8x10"

Just absolutely perfect! We added a few more prints to the collage we have in my daughter's room. The quality of the prints, the quick shipping, and the customer service that always goes above and beyond is just wonderful. Thank you so much!

I have four literary character prints in a collage frame in my daughter's room. I think they're a fun touch and, hopefully, a great introduction to some of my favorite childhood books.

Listen to my tale of woe:

I had this lovely (unframed) picture of Emily Starr, my favoritest literary heroine, propped up on the shelf above my writing desk. The shelf is built directly into the wall… or so it should be. The other day as I was reaching for something else, I knocked over the picture—which promptly found the only crack where the shelf has seperated from the wall, and tumbled down it. Never to return, unless I tore into my wall!!!

Needless to say, I ordered a new Emily print from CarrotTopPaperShop post haste, and while I was at it, added a bookmark of LMM herself (pictured here languishing in the pages of her Complete Journals, Volume II). Lost-Emily may be doomed forever to the Crack In the Wall, but Framed-Emily now watches me from inside a lovely frame, and I am consoled (mostly).

Thanks again, Jenny!!!
