The FONE-TONE is handbuilt from a classic Pac Bell phone. This harmonica mic has an on/off switch build in.

Rob Busch has been in the music industry as both creator and builder of instruments for over 45 years. He is an acclomplished musician who plays guitar, slide guitar, bass, keyboard and harmonica. He won Guitar Player's 30th Anniversary Competition with his original slide guitar instrumental "Gale Force".

Rob is a luthier by trade, repairing stringed instruments and amplifiers. He has10 years experience working as support technician for the U.S. distributor of Warwick bass guitars and Framus guitars where he was dubbed "Repairman to the Gods".

Rob was inspired to make the Fone-Tone upon hearing the lo-fi sound of Morphine's Mark Sandman and thus his latest creation was born. Originally built to enhance vocals, Rob discovered the mic worked great with harmonica, so he added a power switch and "strat" jack not only for function, but also for a great look. The mic is great with guitar amps, thru a P.A. or to record direct.
