Who can forget Mrs. Haversham the almost a bride who never took off her wedding dress or changed her room the day she was left at the altar alone? Dickens weaves another masterful character in Great Expectations and through a vivid description, readers can envision the aged bride in her yellowing wedding dress, never moving forward to a life she could have had!

Mrs. Havisham is dressed in ivory wedding gown trimmed in lace and satin ribbon. Her graying hair is styled with real fiber, and she has a yellowing ivory veil with wilting bouquet of white roses.

All details of her face are painted by hand, this Dickens character stands a tiny 4 1/2 inches tall, (11.4 cm) and is uniquely created out of wood, wire, clay, and paint.
