Special custom order listing for Three sets (3x2) 6 total
for Ed Oblad
This set of two brown ceramic nested bowls is made of a buff stoneware clay and is wheel thrown in my own studio. They are glazed in a warm russet ash brown glaze. Then they were dipped in to a second glaze to soften the color. They are a warm russet and nutmeg semi-matte finish and break a dark brown on the rims. Then they were fired to cone 6 in an oxidation environment.

They are food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe as well. It can be used in the oven, but only if you put it in a cold oven and let warm up with the oven. This should be done with all ceramic pieces.

One is slightly smaller so they stack really well in the cabinet. The larger of the two measures 2.75 inches high and 6.5 inches across and holds 18 ounces. The smaller of the two measures 2.5 inches high and 5.5 inches across and holds 12 ounces. They are all purpose bowls and the uses are endless.
