Description

This wool reminds me of a Cloudy Day- or cloudy sky. The subtle wisps that happen with the clouds stretching across the sky- the subtle coloring of whites, grays and purples- this will look great in your project.

One piece has minute bits of red in it- I was careless and used the same tools from a red dye bath in the other pot- so a wee bit of red transferred onto the wool. It is actually kind of nice- but you can decide about that. If you want that one it is called Red Marks.

There is another that turned out with some darker areas on it- still on the light side overall, but with some bits of dark in one area. That is referred to as Darker Day.

Know that each piece of wool will turn out differently depending on how and where the wool takes the dye so I can never replicate one but will come close in color value if at all possible. These wools are dyed using a different technique so they are all a bit different.

I hand dye all of my wool in small batches in my Maine home kitchen.

All of the recipes are original to me. The pots you use, the water, the wool , the dye, it all makes for unique colors in the end. No two people create the same hand dyed wools because of those different factors.

You put lots of love and time into your artwork- make sure you are using quality woolens for it!

Ready to use, all washed and fluffed.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you take some time to look around the shop for other wools, linen, patterns and finished work. Check back in again as I am always adding new items as I get them ready for your use.

Please make sure that you provide the correct mailing address so that your package arrives to you,

If you want your item sooner, there will be additional fees charged for that service- you can message me about changes if you need to.
