Description

African Gabon Ebony Bowl

Size is: 5 5/8" wide, and 1 7/8" tall
Weight is: 7.8 ounces
Materials cost: $107.45
Seasoning time was: 9 months

Gabon Ebony is one of the most rare and sought after woods of the world. Harvested in Africa, and is a highly regulated wood that isn't available on a regular basis.....and, it's extremely expensive, when it is available. This piece has a very nice brown stripe through the very rich and deep dark black heartwood. Just beautiful! Others are called ebony, but this one is the real thing! This is parlor/art gallery quality.

IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTE: To insure your complete satisfaction in the shipping process, I use the more expensive premium postal services of USPS priority mail with insurance, tracking, and signature delivery. This service normally costs more than what you would pay for shipping, and it is my policy to absorb the extra cost.....

Please look over my other high quality art bowls. There are others in all price ranges to fit varying requirements, from the connoisseur, to those who have a specific price range in mind.

Thank you.......odie, the eccentric old guy!

My finishing methods, suggested uses, and end-user care of my bowls, are outlined in my "about" page. click here to view them: https://www.etsy.com/shop/EccentricOldGuy/about?ref=shopinfo_about_leftnav
