Description

Have you ever wanted to write a spooky story? Do you want to learn how to write fiction in general? You have come to the right person my friend. This listing is for a highly accessible, simple, lesson on writing. Over at Patreon I've started including one writing lesson a month. You get an essay (the lesson) and an example from my own body of work. By request, for those unable to commit to a monthly cost, here we are. The most awesome, monthly, affordable writing class from your fave weirdo.

In this lesson, I teach you how to use a couple of my favorite literary devices, I talk a bit about including POC in your work and ways to signify that they are not the default White folks. And I give you some exercises/challenges to try out. I also include some extra links to other resources on the methods mentioned in the lesson. AND you get a whole ding dang first draft story written just for this writing lesson.

This is perfect for writers at any level. If you've never written fiction, never written horror, or if you just want to learn a bit about a new form of writing.

Here is a little taste:

Here is your challenge. Find some literary device. Could be Burnt tongue, could be anything you want. I’ll insert a link below.
Now take that and play around with it. Remember, it is fiction and you get to play around with how stuff works.
