Description

This cute vintage Ball brand 26 ounce juice decanter jar was rescued from a Lamp Shoppe in the heart of Amish country, Illinois. This jar has a unique shape and pattern to the glass. I believe that this jar is listed as #191-5 in the Red Book of Fruit Jars #10. This jar would have originally been sold in a box of 12 "juice decanter" jars. Each box contained one white plastic screw-on cap with a spout. The original lid would have been a metal two piece lid. This jar was manufactured c. 1950's (according to the Red Book of Fruit Jars #10).

This jar came with a rustic zinc lid. I left the zinc lid on the jar. If you would prefer a metal two piece lid (more similar to the original lid), I would be happy to substitute a modern metal two piece lid for you. You will receive one jar and one zinc lid with this listing. All other items in the photographs are props.

I honestly thought this jar was entirely modern when I first saw it. It is in very good vintage condition. I did not see any major cracks or chips, but there could be some small flakes, chipping, or flea bites that missed my notice upon initial inspection. There could be some scuffing or shelf wear. This jar is nearly 70 years old.

Shipping is automatically combined on multiple purchases.

Please contact me right away if your item arrives broken or damaged. If possible, I will send a replacement, if not, I will issue a refund for the item. Shipping policies

I will ship your order via USPS. Depending on the weight of the package, it will be sent via parcel post or priority mail. I will do overnight or express shipping, but the buyer will be responsible for any additional postage. Please allow at least 3-5 business days after purchase for packages to be shipped. Large orders may require more time for packing.

Your shipping cost includes actual postage plus a minimal handling charge. I do recycle shipping materials, and I use a large volume of packing supplies. The packaging is "no frills" but your items will be carefully packaged. Frequently, custom boxes have to be built for items of unusual size or shape.

International buyers will be responsible for any upgraded shipping or customs fees.

Additional policies

I will be happy to design a custom order for you! Please allow a little more processing time for larger orders.
