This print is of a nice old matchbook that has a sailor theme. Jaunty Jack was a restaurant in Somerville Massachusetts, probably from the 1930’s or 1940’s. The sailor appears to be doing a jig or dancing.

Most people keep matchbooks in bowls or notebooks. I design mine so that they can be put on the wall and appreciated - since all sides can be seen at once. The prints are available for your enjoyment with 11"x14" mats that are ready to be put into standard frames. The words "Matchbook Memories" do not appear in the print. Please be aware that the print colors may vary slightly due to differences in monitor color settings.

STYLE VARIATION OFFER: The main image (sailor), enlarged, without the other elements is available as a variation. It is a print of the large image only, instead of all three images (the front, back and inside of the matchbook). It would come matted in an 11 x 14 inch white mat as the other prints do. Please let me know if you prefer this variation. It would take an extra day for me to adjust the design.
