This is a lovely-shaped collectible tin advertising "Cadbury's Chocolate Biscuits" and "Cadbury's Chocolates". It stands 5-3/4 inches high by 5-3/4 inches wide, and has a lovely bowed-out front panel. Made of silvered metal, it has full-color illustrations on butterscotch backgrounds with navy borders on the front and on both sides.

The front illustration depicts customers in 1800s dress in a Cadbury Brothers shop in England. The side panels show young women displaying boxes of chocolates. The back panel tells "The Story of Cadbury Limited" -- from its beginnings in 1824 to 1861, when the founder retired and his two sons took over the business. A beautiful small illustration on the top shows the Cadbury factory of perhaps 14 or 15 buildings.

There are perhaps four small areas of discoloration on the silver tone areas of the tin, and all over wear and light scuffing on the lid -- but, hey! It's vintage! Unless you are looking "down" onto it, it looks pretty "mint". Cadbury is widely available and still very popular today.
