This teapot was wheel thrown and hand sculpted into a quiet face on one side, with a relief image of a woman Buddha in meditation on the back. It embodies an energy of letting go of all ideas about the way things are supposed to be, and accepting the moment as it is.

The figure on the back is sitting in lotus posture with her hands in a anjali mudra. She is an image of metta, or loving kindness towards all beings.

It is approximately 6 inches tall, 10" wide, and 6" deep. Glazed clear white on the inside, matte white on the face, and matte reddish brown around the outside.

It's on sale for spring! Marked down from $90.

Sometimes seeing clearly requires closing our eyes and observing our minds, their thoughts and reactions, and let them all go at the pace with which they arise. This teapot is working on that, and intends to serve you tea from that space of wisdom.
