Poor Bertha Rochester is a tormented soul, wandering the halls of her home, and in danger of doing harm to herself and others. Her life comes to a tragic end when she sets herself on fire, and poor Mr. Rochester loses his sight trying to save her. The story of Jane Eyre is a tale with a bittersweet ending!

This tragic character of Jane Eyre is personally crafted in a white, floor length flannel night gown with lace trim and bow, and has tousled black hair. I hand painted all the details of her facial expression, and she even carries a tiny candlestick!

Bertha stands a tiny 4 1/2 inches tall, (11.4 centimeters).

Bertha is a must have for the collection of the Charlotte Bronte fan!
