Description

Rejuvenate dry skin and ward away wintertime ashiness with my handmade whipped body butter. This is -not- a lotion. Whipped body butter is composed entirely of oils and butters (and a splash of fragrance oil) to truly lock in moisture and restore your skin. It is, by nature, more oily than lotion. Having said that, I hate feeling greasy and did my best to produce a product that is fast absorbing.

Our 8 oz jars are filled by weight. Jars are filled to the top with 3.5 oz / 100 g of fluffy whipped body butter.

Choose Your Fragrance!

Just Butter: No added scent. Just oils/butters for the super sensitive skinned. Love your skin. **Please note that the oils and butters have a natural scent that's all of their own. The mango butter in particular has a subtle sweetness. I doubt you'll be able to smell this butter once it's on you, but if you sniff the container, there is a slight natural fragrance. Again, no essential or fragrance oils have been added.

Lavender: Lavender essential oil.

Good God, Lemon!: This Tina Fey fangirl body butter uses a a knock off of Lush's Avobath called Awaken. Lively and uplifting, this fragrance is a clean and energizing scent with lemongrass, lemon verbena, bergamot, and notes of rosewood. You'll butter up after the shower and want to shout "GOOD GOD, LEMON!" but out of joy.

Toasted Marshmallow: Spun sugar, tonka beans, and the faintest hint of toastiness makes this an absolute delight.

Cashmere: Notes of blueberry, white freesia, white grape, pomegrante, lily, green vines, cashmere, and violet. Weird, right? It works. It's light, warm, and perfect for cozy, chilly days.

This product is 100% paraben & pthlatate free.

Why did I choose this oil/butter combination?

Apricot kernel oil: This nourishing oil is very similar to sweet almond oil (which is more frequently used, but those with the most severe nut allergies cannot use). Its more readily absorbed by skin than many other oils, and helps ward off dry, itchy skin.

Mango Butter: My absolute favorite butter, it's absorbs quickly, but contains more fatty acids than shea or cocoa butter--that just means its more intensely moisturixing.

Shea Butter: High in vitamin A, E, and F, this butter is probably the most well known. It has amazing skin conditioning qualities, but is a little greasy for my taste, so I balance it out with an equal amount of mango butter.

Jojoba Oil: This oil contains wax esters, which are also found in human skin sebum. It's actually the closest oil to the natural oil (sebum) our skin producers. It's a fancy oil, but it's well worth it for the intense softness it brings to your skin without the added weight of heavier oils.

The best hand moisturizer ever. Not greasy at all and absorbs quickly. Plus, it isn't full of gross petroleum products. I have tried so moisturizers and this is the only one that's worked. The scents are totally addictive too. LOVE IT!

Love this stuff! This is the best hand moisturizer I have tried yet and I love the natural ingredients. It works immediately. I also love that the lid screws on so I can keep it in my purse without the top popping off. I'm addicted. So impressed. Well done!

FAQs

Allow your soap to dry between uses to ensure that they last for as long as possible.
No, our soap is not organic. While we do occasionally use organic products, not all of the materials used to make each soap is organic.
You bet we do! Soap isn't soap if it isn't made with lye. Seriously. The thing about lye, though, is that properly made soap contains no lye. The soaponification process, the chemical process that occurs when mixing lye and oils, converts the lye to glycerin.
Due to the nature of soaps, we can not accept returns. We may offer replacements or refunds if needed. If there is any issue with your order please do not hesitate to contact us.
I use synthetic mica from manufacturers who guarantee that their products are cruelty free and vegan. I enjoy working with bright colors that can't be achieved through other methods. Yes, there are "natural" micas, but there is a huge child labor issue surrounding naturally mined mica. So, synthetic for the win!
Absolutely.
