prismacolor markers, micron pen, watercolor paper

6 color choices.

Original is 11x15 Prismacolor marker on watercolor paper. (Sold)

Kasvot Växt was a Scandinavian prog rock band from the early 1980's, too often compared to the 1960's improv rock band, Den Takknemlige Døde. The album I ROKK, released by Elektrisk Tung, was seemingly their only record before disbanding. Many Americans were unfamiliar with Kasvat Vaxt until an obscure jam band from Vermont (who also peaked in the 1980's but has beaten a dead horse for decades) covered I ROKK at a Halloween party somewhere in the Southwest. Many say that the hill billy version was a weak interpretation of the opus. But it was enough to send traffic toward resurfaced copies of the real Kasvot Vaxt.

This concert poster was created for the Oslo stop on the I ROKK tour. Only 150 copies were printed and signed by the artist (who was 3 years old at the time) and offered at the beginning of the show. None sold, maybe because fans had already shelled out 30 krones for admission while Norway was experiencing hyper-inflation, but possibly because poster collecting wasn't really a thing yet. Fortunately, they were printed on a futuristic, very very beta, archival printer and they still look like brand new.

The artist, Dave Russo, got his start by drawing caricatures for fans on Växt lot.

A Portion of sales profit will be donated to Den Vannhjul Foundation.

Original: Prismacolor marker and Micron pen on 11x15" non-acid watercolor paper. Color matches the RHAPSODY BLUE option. (Not yet released. Inquire if interested)

Prints are 8x10" or 11x14" on acid free, archival paper. Signed by artist and numbered to 150 per size.

***Prints are limited by size, not by color. Prints are made per order. In other words, any color can be printed until 150 prints total of that size. There will be no particular proportion of colors.
