All purchased items will differ in color from the photo. The swirled pattern, stainless steel portion of the item (the bee), will not rust outdoors and is a nice contrast with the natural steel or rusted steel. It has been torch colored to a beautifully unique blend of colors. The natural steel portion (the outer circle) will weather, if exposed to moisture or the outdoor elements, to a nice rusted patina, over time. It is meant to rust naturally! Hang it in your garden, on your fence, barn, tree, entryway or in your home!
