Ottoman has been upholstered in homespun linen, half of a wagon cover, richly dyed natural indigo in Africa on the Ivory Coast. Made its way to France, circa 1860. Its condition is incredible with mended patches and repairs, adding authenticity, story and texture. Ottoman sits sturdily atop hand-crafted, 100-year old barn wood base, left in its natural weathered state. A sizable, sophisticated, room-presence piece with a wonderful back story. Sit, rest your feet, have dinner upon it. Descriptors listed below refer to the indigo linen upholstery. Ottoman frame is newly constructed from 100-year old barn wood.
