-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the first of several items I am making available for sale that were featured in the Dapper Gents ~ Ruffled Ladies photo shoot organized by M. Kirkness.

This armor is a steampunk/retro-future interpretation of a medieval spaulder (a type of shoulder guard). Excluding the rivets used to connect everything together, this piece was made entirely out of re-used materials in the spirit of the retro-future theme it was developed for. The plates on the shoulder are made from steel. The other materials used are leather, vinyl & aluminium.

The spaulder is held in place by a belt-harness, which features buckles in both the front and back. This makes it adjustable and able to fit a wide range of sizes, while still allowing for comfort and mobility.
