Materials: Carbon Fiber core polyolefin soft grip
Derived from the Modern Rapier handle sans the quillons making it this grip legal for international competition. This grip educates and promotes understanding as to the proper position of the manipulator fingers and their assistants. It is properly held by placing the thumb in the forward dorsal groove then, like a tooth pick, pinching with the forefinger and allowing the tips of the assistant fingers to find purchase along the ventral rear section encouraging elegant delicate actions rather than the monkey grip that is so discouraged by proponents of the French system but encouraged by the forms of some modern “French” handle incarnations. (Legal for international Olympic sport fencing competition)

The handle is exquisitely crafted. I put that on my brand new bf blue quite easily. The handle screws on so it needs to be turned. FYI if you post you will sacrifice some reach with this grip for added control and power.

This innovative grip arrived in the mail quickly. It's form fits my hand better than a normal foil grip does. The grip's feel communicates an immediately satisfying sense of hybridized fine control and functional power.

Beautiful grip, excellent fine control when held close to the bell, but very comfortable in several positions towards the pommel for greater reach. Fitted to an epee. And flicks are so much easier than with a French grip.
