100% Natural Silk Indigenous to Madagascar. Soft hand to the touch. Fair trade involved. Often called Malagasy silks, these scarves are culturally some of the most significant textiles in the world. May be worn, used as wall art, table runners, and more!! On display in the Smithsonian. In the native language, they are called lambas. Handcrafted from cocoon to finished product, there is no electricity or running water in the village. Natural dyes and carefully selected synthetic dyes. Four inch fringe on each end. Dry clean.

Everything about this scarf is amazing! The seller was friendly and accommodating. The scarf itself is lightweight and cool (which is perfect for my desired use of headwraping) soft and textured, true to the colors of the picture and it came without any funky smells or anything. It just smells fresh like it hasn't been sitting too long but with no fragrance or anything. I bought a different raw silk item from a different seller in the past that had some strong fragrance that I haven't been able to remove so the scentlessness was a huge plus. Truly special item. Plotting my next purchase.
