The Mythical Gods Collection is a series of single colors dyed in a tonal base layer with speckles over the top. These colors are sure to fill your needs for less busy yarns for cable and lace work while simultaneously providing the unique and fun feel you can only get from indie dyed yarns. Check the other shop listings for full size hanks of the color choices. Each color in the MGC is named for a God or Goddess from Mythology. Many are Greek, some are Norse or Egyptian, more will come.

NOTE: Basic Sock yarn is made of 75% Superwash Merino Wool and 25% Nylon. Superwash wool has been treated to prevent felting. I recommend hand washing all items made with hand dyed yarns in cool water and laying flat to dry, regardless of if they are superwash or not. That said, superwash is generally considered "machine safe" for the fact it won't felt.

I have done my best to reflect the colors as best as possible in my photos above. Due to monitor/screen settings, some colors may appear slightly different in person. I do my very best to prevent this issue. See my reviews for other customers' opinions on the color if you have concern.
