Description
Dimensions: 4.5" square
Metric: 11 cm square
Carver: Paulus
Oshiwa Designs produces hand carved stamps in a small workshop in Namibia, Africa. All of the designs are original to the carvers who interpret their African heritage in their personal way. Most designs are geometric, although there are also many animal motifs as well.
How to use: The stamps can be used on paper or fabric for printing or they can be imprinted into clay. They can also be used with wax or other resists for batik printing. See the Oshiwa website for detailed instructions: www.oshiwa.com There you will also find images of the carvers, ideas for products, the history of the workshop and other useful information.
Almost every stamp is signed by the carver. As an end user, you may sell products made with our stamps, but the patterns/designs may not be reproduced for resale. The stamps are made from African Wawa Wood, originating from sustainable plantations controlled by the Forestry Dept. of Ghana.
Photos: The first photo is of the item for this listing. Also included is a photo of the Oshiwa Namibia Team, a sample stamp and a set of stamps to give an idea of scale and one of the carvers working on a stamp. The stamps are available as singles or in sets. Sets have been priced at 15% off of what they would have been individually. Visit our shop here on Etsy for a great selection on designs!

We want you to be happy with what you get.
Lost items rarely happen, but when they do, it's a pain. No getting around it. In over 10 years of selling online, only one item has not made its destination but several have taken months to reach certain destinations overseas.
No losses can be processed with the post office until one month after the shipment date. Most orders can be tracked through your Pay Pal account as we use Pay Pal to print the shipping labels.
