Description

Authentic vintage 1940s 1950s rare small weekender suitcase from Samsonite Shwayder Bros Denver. Initials "EBW". Dark brown embossed (faux fake) alligator or crocodile hard side luggage for travel. Two copper plated latches and handle hardware, Metal edges, bottom hinges. Two inside shirred panel pockets on one side, "curtain" on other side. Still has original staples holding ribbon ties.

Very good vintage condition, opens and closes easily, displays nicely but does have slight expected dings and scratches from use, mostly on enamel frame, stitches some wear, binding edges intact. curtain corners good has water stain on left, Copper plating loss and pings. See photos.

Measures Small 15" wide at base x 7"deep x 12" tall or 14-1/2" with handle.

Returns and exchange details

I sell used and vintage merchandise, please ask questions, review photos and measurements carefully and satisfy yourself to condition, prior to your purchase. Etsy only allows 5 photos and I usually have many more so just ask.

If you change your mind, I will refund purchase price only minus restocking fee of 20%. No shipping costs either way will be refunded. Contact me within 3 days of your intent. Please return any item in same condition and packaging as it was shipped to you. Thank you!

Shipping policies

For domestic packages, I prefer to ship Priority with tracking. Books and other media will be shipped media mail. Always happy to combine shipping, just ask. I will refund any overpayment on shipping over $3.

I will ship to most countries, using Priority International. May ship Parcel Class for better rate but unfortunately it can be very slow and does not have tracking. I fill out accurate customs forms. Please email for an exact quote.

If you would like your package insured, just ask and I will add to the shipping cost.
If you opt out of insurance, it is at your risk. I am not responsible for uninsured parcels. USPS mistakes or damage.

I pack my boxes securely as I would want it packed if I was receiving it. In keeping with the spirit of Etsy's green philosophy, most of my shipping materials are recycled and reused.
