This is a rare complete 1940's Greyhound Bus drivers cap with a wicker band for air to circulate. The cap is marked as being a 7 but it is a small 7 since I wear a 7 /18 and it is not even close to fitting me. The top canvas part of the cap comes off showing the wicker sweat band around the center, attached to the leather head band. The canvas cap is in good shape, shows the most wear on the inside on the plastic insert, and some stains probably from cleaning. The head band and wicker are in good shape, some damage to the wicker with some broken areas, but you have to look to find them and some paint loss. The cap is complete with the Greyhound Bus metal emblem or badge that fits on the front of the hat. but does has some paint loss and one screw back missing. The bill from the outside looks good, but as you can see the under bill is worn along the front edge. The gold braid is in good shape.
