This digital composite fine art photographic print is the work of the Gig Harbor, WA artist Deb Hodges. Her composite photographs showcase animals and farm life as both subjects of and elements in a multilayered artistic, and visual storyline. She collaborates with local farms to capture the varied single photographic elements. She then uses her skill in computer based retouching programs to draw out the rich colors, textures, emotions, and stories, oftentimes by blending several images together in a style that is part photography, part collage, part painting, and finally, part fantasy. She then custom prints each piece of art in her studio

Each print, greeting card, or larger formatted piece comes to you initialed and ready to frame.
This handsome romney ram lives on a farm in Tacoma, WA. He and his fellow rams were bathed in sunlight as they fed on dinner one evening. Across the road the ewes admired them as they themselves dined. Several days later they were all shorn, and their rich buttery fleece was collected and sent off for processing into soft skeins of yarn.
