Huckleberry Delight will leave you wanting more. Native to higher elevations, the huckleberry thrives in an acidic soil and is a close relative of the blueberry. The huckleberry is fruity and has a sweet robust tart flavor (when compared to its blueberry cousin). Considered to be a golden tiara of Mother Nature, these hard to get berries are generally not cultivated commercially as there is limited availability them.
A favorite food of bears, hikers love the adventure of gathering this limited berry. There is a certain amount of wilderness factor associated with the huckleberry which make them quite scrumptious and a true delicacy.
Steeping Instructions:
Bring filtered or spring water to 212°F. Add 1 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 4 minutes.
