Display your fiddle in this unique sculpture and let Axe Totem frame your instrument while resting. No longer will the metal or wood bracket be the only object on your wall when you take your instrument down to play. Hang this Axe Totem on the wall or display it on a table or cabinet.

Each totem is handmade so each will be slightly different. This shape is cut from 1/2 inch plywood with a jigsaw and raised areas are cut from hardwoods with a bandsaw. I sculpted the assembled pieces using a metal grinder and sanders. Metallic films are laminated to the wood. Various dyes and pigments are painted and applied. And finally the piece is coated with epoxy resin which gives it a look of inlaid glass.

The small closeup photo demonstrates the look of inlaid glass and is not a close up of this particular Axe Totem.

The cradle Axe Totems are upholstered with neoprene and foam covered with cotton and silk fabric. Care is taken to only use natural fibers so that the finish of the instrument is not harmed while resting in the cradle.

WayWay works with a violin.
WayWay hangs on the wall using a metal french cleat bracket or sits on a cabinet or table. Please specify if you'd like to hang on the wall and I will include the bracket.
