This is a beautiful 16 inch necklace with 3/4 inch elongated bars as links. Each bar is embossed to catch the light brilliantly. Five crescents of pierced metal each hold a faceted oval deep pink glass stone. Each stone is prong set, dog-tooth style. Large original thumb-less clasp is sturdy. There are five elongated bars on one side and six on the other. Measuring 16 inches, I would leave this as is and not consider removing a link unless you have a very small neck. The "O" rings are closed so a ring would have to be cut to remove the extra link. At 16 inches, it sits perfectly and the additional 3/4 of an inch on one side is immaterial. The metal has a white finish. Unsigned and unmarked. Experientially, this is usually a rhodium or chromium finish. Very rarely will it be silver-plate. Overall, this is a beautiful Art Deco necklace with glass that's a deep shade of pink very desirable at any time of year.
