Heron is 3 inches long from stone to toe. The moonstone is 6mm.

Years ago I lived in a little cabin in a fir forest by the salt water. If I remember clearly, there were only 10 to 20 steps to the water’s edge from the front door, depending on the tide. Directly in front of the cabin was a stone jetty that jutted out from the gravel beach. This was a regular fishing spot for a great blue heron. At low tide she would wade in the water to catch fish and at high tide she’d stand on the massive stones of the jetty. Keeping still in front of those stones she’d be camouflaged, invisible until startled into flight. In the darkness of night she would become the night watchman. The presence of any intruder would be announced by her to all sleeping creatures for miles around. Then with an angry harsh voice that ripped open the quiet serenity and jarred you out of your present frame of mind, she would fly to a tree on the island across the water.

One full-moon night in midsummer, Heron was doing a little fishing. She looked down, saw the reflection of the moon and snatched it up just for you. I hope that will give you something on which to reflect.
