This tote is an absolute must-have for every diaper bag! It's the perfect baby shower gift!
It all started when my husband and I got fed up with cutting bite-size pieces at our favorite pizza place using their dinky plastic fork and knife. So we started taking kitchen shears to restaurants. We were chopping up pizza, chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, and quesadillas like real pros. Friends and strangers would always marvel and say "You have food scissors in your diaper bag?? That's genius!" And it seemed just wrong not to share this power with the rest of the world so we decided to make our own!
BUT, cutting food wasn't our only problem at restaurants. Those icky tables! We brought a spare Yeah Baby Goods highchair placemat with us to every restaurant but of course we didn't really need the arms. So we knew we had to include a reusable, washable FDA food grade silicone placemat with our restaurant scissors. And of course, a cute to-go bag to store them in!
To use: Place placemat on table and cut food on it. After baby is done eating, wipe it with a napkin or wipe, roll it up, stick in in the to-go bag. When you get home, rinse with warm soapy water or stick it in the top rack of the dishwasher.

FAQs
Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle setting. Avoid harsh spot-scrubbing, and use a phosphate-free detergent for longer color life. Tumble dry on a low temperature or permanent press setting.
FDA grade silicone is highly resistant to staining, but some things should be wiped fairly soon to avoid staining (like carrots, tomato sauce, red juice, pen ink, etc). To clean, rinse with warm soapy water or place in the top rack of your dishwasher.
I like to put the placemat back on the tray while it's still a little wet then let it dry on there. This trick gives it a little extra stick!

IKEA sells an inflatable cushion called the KLÄMMIG (previously called the PYTTIG) that fits in the Antilop and Blames highchairs. If you already have a cushion, there's no need to get a new one. But if you don't already have a cushion, we make the same inflatable cushion that you can purchase as a $5 add-on. If you select the "Cover Only" option, you will receive the cover but no cushion insert.
We use a high quality fabric called Kona Ultra Cotton, which is a soft, heavier weight cotton with improved wash durability. Our fabric is also designed by indie artists who earn commission from every sale.
